A Trusted Neighbor

Rooted in Arden Hills.

My bride of 41 years and I have lived in the Arden Hills area for the last 34 years, owning 3 different homes, one on Karth Lake, one near Crepeau Nature Preserve and now we call the Townhomes near TCAPP our home. We have raised our four kids here, sending them through St. Odilia grade school and Mounds View High school.

When I was on the Arden Hills City Council I voted for the creation of a Dog Park, voted for the "worst first" pavement inspection and maintenance plan and to rebuild the 30 miles of city roadways. I voted for park improvements and bike/walking trail connections.

Public safety plays an important role in our City and makes up almost half of our cities general fund budget. I support our agreements with Ramsey County Sheriff's Department and Lake Johanna Fire Department as these shared agreements with other communities have proven to be the most cost-effective coverage for Arden Hills residents.

I truly appreciate our business community as their growth will bring good jobs to our community. Kathy and I are big supporters of the Military and their families, in particular, the MN National Guard.

My main interests are with maintaining the infrastructure of our community, safe drinking water, clean air, lots of Trees, well maintained Parks, walking trails and roadways. I will continue to push for TCAPP development as well as trails that continue to connect to our parks and community.

Community & Family

A neighbor-first approach

Arden Hills, just 15 minutes from either of the major downtowns is where we built our lives and raised our family. Now with our four grandkids we have enjoyed the annual Egg Hunt, the Touch A Truck Day, the 75th Anniversary Celebration and of course Rib Fest. I am running for City Council to ensure Arden Hills remains a collaborative, transparent community that is deeply accountable to every resident.

With a professional background rooted in pragmatic problem-solving. I will bring a collaborative mindset to City Council meetings. I believe in careful fiscal stewardship, developing parks and trails that work for all citizens - be it age grouped and handicap accessible as well as managing community developments with transparency and common sense.
